Many children supported by Light of Hope Orphans Care Organization have lost one or both parents and live with relatives, guardians, or foster families. Many of these children and their families face daily challenges in meeting their basic needs, particularly access to adequate food and other essential household necessities.
Light of Hope Orphans Care Organization provides practical support to children and families when they are unable to meet these needs. Depending on available resources and the circumstances of each family, this support may include food, soap, clothing, blankets, mattresses, and other essential household items. Through this assistance, we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ, demonstrating His love in a practical and tangible way to vulnerable children and families in the community.
In addition to meeting immediate needs, Light of Hope Orphans Care Organization seeks to strengthen the long-term self-reliance of families caring for vulnerable children. We support families to establish income-generating activities that can help them meet their basic needs and provide a more stable environment for the children in their care. Depending on the family’s circumstances, support may include agricultural inputs, livestock, small-business start-up capital, or other appropriate resources.
Our desire is not only to provide a helping hand during times of need, but also to help families build their capacity, dignity, and ability to care for the children entrusted to them. We believe that when families are strengthened, children are more likely to experience love, protection, stability, and hope for a better future.
Through community support, we invite individuals, churches, and ministry partners to join us in showing Christ’s love and helping vulnerable children and families experience hope in practical ways.
